學生領袖組與英文科合辦「清潔沙灘義工服務」

2025年2月22日，本校服務及學生領袖組與英文科攜手舉辦「清潔沙灘義工服務」，帶領學生前往南丫島索罟灣進行實地清潔活動。

是次活動不僅讓學生走出課堂，運用英語溝通協作，提升語言自信，更透過親身參與，深刻了解海洋污染問題，學習環保知識。學生們在清理垃圾的過程中，認識到保護環境的重要性，並承諾將繼續宣揚環保訊息，踐行綠色生活。

我們相信，這類結合學科學習與社區服務的活動，既能豐富學生的學習經歷，也能培養他們的社會責任感和領導才能。期待未來更多師生參與，共同為環保出力！

On 22^nd February, 2025, our school’s Service and Student Leadership Team collaborated with the English Department for the ‘Beach Clean-up Voluntary Service ‘at Sok Kwu Wan, Lamma Island.

This event did not only allowed exploration outside the classroom, but was also a precious opportunity to boost their confidence in communicating and practicing teamwork in English. Through hands-on experience of picking up litters, students understood the severity of marine pollution and recognized the importance of environmental conservation. They have pledged to promote eco-friendly messages and practice green living.

We believe activities, which combine academic learning and community services, enrich student’s learning experience by fostering their sense of social responsibility and leadership skills. We look forward to more teachers and students joining our events for a greener future!
